Our Instructors
Roch Dallaire
Helicopter and Airplane Pilot
Roch has over 30 years of experience as a pilot and understands the Canadian Aviation industry. He has trained UAV/drone pilots as well as regular pilots. The UAV manufacturer, Aeryon Labs, has also certified Roch to train pilots to fly their Skyranger Drone. Roch is both a helicopter pilot and an airplane pilot. He has over 5000 flight hours with multi-engine IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) fixed-wing flight (flying airplanes).
Sheri Foley (BSC, MSC)
Geographic Information Systems & Remote Sensing Specialist
Sheri has 15 years of experience as a geographic information systems and remote sensing specialists. She is also a certified Drone Pilot Trainer.
Why You Need Training
The Number 1 Reason You Need Training
Effective June 1, 2019, the Government of Canada requires training for EVERYONE operating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or Drones heavier than 250g.

In the last few years, the popularity of UAVs has skyrocketed resulting in regulators trying to keep up with regulation. Conflicts between manned aircraft and unmanned aircraft have risen and without certification, the UAV pilot may find themselves in hot water very quickly.
